UC Davis

has long committed to the development of student-athletes in an environment that encourages personal growth, academic success, and a deliberate effort to produce positive post-graduate success.

The next step in the maturation of our department includes a substantial capital investment, unlike any other seen in our history.

We remain dedicated to our promise of an unwavering drive to produce championship programs and incredible graduates. To do so, we are making our next move. Our vision is a comprehensive strength and conditioning, sports medicine, and team facility that will benefit each of our 25 varsity sports programs. The estimated cost of the facility is $52 million.

Funded Areas

Foster Center Renovation

The Bob Foster Center will undergo a full renovation to more efficiently utilize the square footage of the building. This will include updated locker rooms, offices, and equipment space for Football, Lacrosse, and Field Hockey.

Bob Biggs Practice Field

A natural grass practice and training field has been constructed next to the facility and be utilized by all teams, replacing the need for cross-campus trips to practice on natural grass. This field, thanks to considerable donor support, has been named for Aggie alumnus and longtime football coach, Bob Biggs.
